Visual database of symbols and pictures

LIGHT ON Visual database of symbols and pictures is now available on the website.

Racist images and symbols are shown with the purpose to explain their strong negative impact. Indeed, the research carried out explains why these images are harmful and affect people. You can filter symbols using the tags or simply clicking on the images.

At the moment the Visual database contains cases from the five project countries, but everyone can submit a symbol considered to be offensive using the form from the website. The project researchers will analyze their original and hidden meaning, confirming if they are dangerous and racist. 

The number of symbols might increase during the project period thanks to the continuous monitoring of the National Watching Points, and you can contribute too: it's your turn to stop racism!
